How to make an appointment

You can make an appointment the following ways:

Pre-bookable appointments

Pre-bookable appointments are for those patients who the doctors have asked to return for a follow-up appointment in the future, and for those patients who may have a chronic disease and need to be monitored regularly. These appointments will now be available in the afternoons.

Next day appointments

There are some appointments that become available for the next day, for those patients who do not need to be seen urgently but need to be seen within a week. These appointments will now be available in the afternoons and evenings only.

Late evening appointments

There are late appointments available on Mondays and alternate Thursdays. These appointments are for our patients who work and cannot attend during the day.

Emergency appointments

If you call and all the appointments have been taken but you feel you need to be seen as a matter of urgency, you may be asked to come at the end of the afternoon surgery and wait to be seen.

This is not a booked appointment and you may have to wait a while to be seen. The doctor may decide to see the most urgent patients first.

Cancelling an appointment

If you are unable to keep your appointment please make every effort to cancel it well in advance, so that it may be offered to someone else.

You can let us know by cancelling an appointment online in order for us to give the slot to some one else.

If you are late for an appointment you may not be seen if you are more than 10 minutes late. The doctor or nurse may still agree to see you if you are late but you may have to wait to be seen after those patients who arrive on time for their appointments.

Lambeth Hubs

We are able to book doctor and nurse appointments with four specially selected GP Hubs across Lambeth. Our GP Hubs offer appointments seven days a week at the following times:

  • 12 noon – 8pm Monday to Friday
